Western media campaign, especially Aljazeera news channel, against the newly elected Mursi government in Egypt is baseless and rude. It is unjustified to compare the present democratically elected Egyptian government with the former Mubarak regime, the officials of which are alleging that Mursi is acting like a dictator, thus harming judiciary and legal system.
Unfortunately the famous Tahrir Square is being used by the vested interest for scoring political points and destabilizing the present government.
While proposing for the recent constitutional amendments, Mursi did not act alone.
While proposing for the recent constitutional amendments, Mursi did not act alone.
The Egyptian Parliament elected by people has tabled and approved the new amendment in constitution. The matter is now going to the president and finally the public would decide whether constitutional changes are part of constitution or not. People’s expectations like unemployment are high, but the reality is that no one can solve the last 40 years’ problem in just a few days.
