Thousands attend first Friday prayer after NZ terror attack

Thousands of mourners gathered at a park in front of the Al Noor mosque for the first Friday Prayer since the deadly terror attack at twin mosques in New Zealand. New Zealand broadcasted the Muslim call for prayer on national television and radio as a sign of solidarity with that community after recent terror attacks in the country. Friday marked exactly one week since the attacks in which at least 50 Muslims were killed when a terrorist opened fire on worshipers during weekly Friday prayers at the Al Noor and Linwood mosques in Christchurch.
