Quetta Terroriest attack and killing of innocent grils

Pakistan is still in shock after a female suicide bomber killed 14 innocent female students in a bus as they were leaving a local university in Quetta, capital of the restive Balochistan province. As if that were not enough, the militants then followed up with another attack on the hospital that was treating the survivors, 90 minutes later.
The situation in Karachi, the country’s social and cultural hub is also volatile. Despite the formation of the new government, Altaf Hussain, chief of the MQM, has called for the third strike in just 15 days bringing the city to a standstill. Seventeen more people lost their lives in Karachi the same day the Quetta carnage happened. Only a week ago, a member of Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf party had lost his life in a terrorist attack in a province bordering Afghanistan.
These happenings in different parts of the country clearly show the tough challenges the new government is facing. The killing of innocent girls and women are heinous acts, which must be condemned by all sections of the society.
According to sources, several foreign agencies are trying hard to inflame Balochistan by spreading insurgency and thus destabilizing the country. The recent Quetta attacks are a big conspiracy against the nation. The terrorists are well trained and continue to receive latest instruction on warfare tactics, weapons and finances from outside the country. Pakistan needs to be united and security forces have to play a more active role to prevent such incidents in the future.
